Our story is short and sweet. Jose fell madly in love with me the moment he saw me and had to chase me down until I gave into him. Just kidding! It was almost love at first sight. I knew there was something different about Jose once I got to know him after my first year of college. Once I got to know him, I knew I would love him forever. We knew of each other in high school, but I thought he was a dumb football player and didn't have any interest in him. It's funny how things work out. Jose fell in love with me on our first date. He took me on a very cheap date to the movie theater. I say cheap, because I worked there and we got in for free with free popcorn and drinks. We saw Jurassic Park, yes the first one, that's how old we are. It came to part in the movie where the little boy gets electrocuted off the fence. I busted a gut in the theater and I'm sure I was the LOUDEST person in there. It was and still is so funny to me. Anyway.....he says he fell in love with me at that moment. I figured out why soon after. He laughs just as loud and obnoxious during movies. I guess we were meant for each other. Jose and I really do complete each other. He begins where I end and vice-versa. He keeps me sane in an insane world. He's my best friend and I hope I never have to live without him. There are two pictures that had monumental effects on our relationship recently. One is the day Jose left for Iraq almost 2 years ago. The other one is the day he came home 14 months later. We survived such an awful ordeal with even more love for each other than we started with.
